Olanzapine (brand name Zyprexa) is the worst anti-psychotic drug, and is therefore the drug of choice within the NHS for particularly political patients (many on my current ward, Brook Ward at Manchester Royal Infirmary) are on it), because it makes you irrationally pessimistic. Despite the fact that I had very strong views about a world socialist revolution being bound to happen (sooner or later) and that I was going to play a leading role in it, at times during the year when I was on olanzapine (albeit briefly) I believed that capitalism would continue forever and that I would have a boring life. It is even prescribed to some people with (manic) depression
